The client is a professional general contractor specializing in factory renovation and industrial finishing, undertaking an old factory reconstruction project in East Asia. The project repurposes original underground garage as the load-bearing foundation for vertical lifting equipment, requiring two identical reciprocating lifts to realize three-level cross-floor material circulation. Confined by fixed building beam structure, intact floor slab and strict 30-day delivery deadline, pit excavation is completely unavailable and non-standard C-shaped loading & unloading path is required. We completed customized structural design, compact space layout optimization and full equipment fabrication within the agreed schedule; after field installation and commissioning, both lifts are fully put into regular factory logistics operation.

Downward Extended Column & Pit-Free Anchoring Restriction: Vertical height from basement to ground floor reaches 4.65m with pit excavation prohibited; lift upright columns must penetrate cut floor slab and extend full 4.65m downward to anchor onto basement concrete, bringing big challenges on suspended frame stability and vertical alignment.

Ultra-Narrow Shaft Spatial Constraint: On-site structural beam spacing is only 2.65m × 2.65m square, forming extremely limited shaft envelope and restricting overall frame and component layout space.

Non-Standard C-Shaped Access Demand: Cabin dimension 1600×1600mm requires C-type feeding design along 1600mm side: goods enter from one side, shift direction inside cabin and discharge from adjacent 90° side, different from conventional straight-through or standard right-angle access.

Long Travel & Fixed Load Specification: Full lifting travel hits 16.4m with rated 500kg payload across 3 independent floor docking stops, demanding powerful drive and stable anti-deflection frame structure.

Urgent Short Production Schedule: Only 30 days available from order confirmation to finished shipment, requiring rapid customized engineering response and accelerated production arrangement for on-site variable conditions.

To overcome multiple structural and schedule limits of the East Asia renovation project, our engineering team developed customized two identical VRC-C-PLF reciprocating lifts, adopting pitless through-floor anchored frame, compact internal component arrangement, exclusive C-shaped cabin access and high-power redundant safety configuration.

The structural foundation adopts F120 main frame matched with J100×50×4mm connecting sectional tubes, with cabin frame fabricated from 100×50×4mm rectangular tube plus 3mm solid flat panel. All upright columns extend full 4.65m downwards through reserved slab opening and anchor firmly on basement floor; extra cross braces and diagonal reinforcing supports are added on suspended lower section to strengthen integral rigidity under 16.4m ultra-high travel height. The whole unit is directly installed on basement garage ground without any foundation pit construction, perfectly matching existing building civil condition.

2. Synchronized Drive and Load Torque Management

Each lift is equipped with 9.2kW original SEW brake motor supporting 0~40m/min variable frequency speed regulation, providing surplus power reserve for frequent start-stop and transient load fluctuation far exceeding regular 500kg specification. Adopting Grade 16A industrial lifting chain as core transmission part, constant torque output effectively offsets dynamic eccentric load impact during long-stroke ascending and descending; VFD closed-loop control realizes soft start and buffer stop to eliminate platform shaking and inertial offset in full travel range.

3. Integrated C‑Shaped Compact Access Layout

With inner cabin dimension fixed at W1600×D1600×H2700mm, the equipment adopts exclusive C-shaped access along the 1600mm cabin side. Materials load into cabin from one lateral opening, complete in-car position conversion then exit from adjacent 90° side opening. Under limited 2.65m×2.65m beam clearance, cabin, T90 car guide rails, TK5A counterweight guide rails, counterweight block and drive unit are densely and reasonably arranged inside the shaft to maximize limited available inner space and adapt narrow on-site aisle layout perfectly.
